Le monde qui m'entoure me sert de source d'inspiration. Nature, mode de vie, famille font vibrer mon imagination qui à travers mes mains se traduiront en créations de bois. J'aime les formes épurées, les contrastes de couleur et les textures. La pièce de tournage en cours suit l'instinct du moment et les nuances du bois. Un dialogue avec la matière marque les étapes de mon travail. Alliant l'esthétique à la difficulté technique, mes créations s'inscrivent dans le mouvement d'un design sobre et élégant. De formation autodidacte, c’est en me confrontant aux multiples particularités du bois que j’ai développé ma technique. Je travaille presque exclusivement les bois durs d'ici afin de donner une deuxième vie à ces arbres urbains qui sont coupés pour toutes sortes de raisons avant d'arriver entre mes mains. Une forme de recyclage et conversion arboricole. Mon but est de créer des pièces fait à la main, esthétiques et fonctionnelles que l’on peut apprécier et transmettre aux générations futures.

I like clean lines, color contrasts and textures. The ongoing turning also follows the instinct of the moment and nuances of the wood. A dialogue with the material marks the steps of my work. Combining aesthetics with technical difficulty, my creations are part of the movement of a sober and elegant design. Self-thaught, it's by dealing with the many features of wood that I developped my technique. I work almost exclusively local hardwoods to give a second life to these urban trees that get cut down for all kind of reasons before ending up in my hands. Some sort of recycling and arboreal conversion. My goal is to create aesthetic and functional handmade pieces as one can enjoy and pass on to futur generations.
Die Welt um mich herum dient als meine inspiration. Natur, Lifestyle, familie vibrieren meine Vorstellungskräfte diese über meine hände in hölzerne Kreationen umgesetzt werden. Ich mag klare linien, Farbkontraste und Texturen. Die Nuancen des Holzes und der Instinkt des Augenblickes koennen die laufenden Arbeiten beeinflussen. Ein Dialog mit dem Holz markieren die Schritte meiner Arbeit. Meine Kreationen sind kombination von Bewegungen, nüchternen und eleganten Designs und der Ästhetik der technischen Schwierigkeiten. Autodidaktisch, habe ich durch den Umgang mit den vielen Eigenschaften des Holzes, meine Technik entwickelt. Ich arbeite fast ausschließlich mit Harthölzern aus unsere Region. Ein zweites leben fur diese Baüme die hier für mehrere gründe umgefällt werden. Mein Ziel ist es ästhetische, funktionelle handgefertigte Stücke zu erstellen die man geniesst und die man an nächsten Generationen weitergeben kann.
